Privacy Policy – DepotPilot

DepotPilot stores trade journal, watchlist, and app settings locally. External services are used only for specific app features.

2. What data does DepotPilot process?
DepotPilot may process the following data:
- IBKR Flex Query ID and Flex Token
- Alpha Vantage API key for stop-loss price data
- portfolio and position data from IBKR Flex Reports
- trade journal, watchlist, stop-loss values, notes, and strategy fields
- app settings such as language, appearance, and selected tab
- cached market data, price data, and morning routine values
3. Storage on your device
Journal data, watchlist entries, market-data caches, and app settings are stored locally on your device. Credentials such as the IBKR Flex Token, Query ID, and Alpha Vantage key are stored in Apple Keychain.
DepotPilot does not use iCloud sync and does not use HealthKit.
4. Interactive Brokers (IBKR)
When you load your portfolio or test the connection, DepotPilot connects to the IBKR Flex Web Service. Your IBKR Flex credentials are sent to IBKR so IBKR can provide the requested report. The app only retrieves the data you configured in your Flex Query.
5. Market data
DepotPilot uses LiquidityPulse through liquiditypulse.net for dashboard and morning routine market data. The service aggregates sources including Yahoo Finance, CBOE, and CNN Fear & Greed for market indicators such as VIX, VXV, PCR, Fear & Greed, trend, and price data.
Alpha Vantage is used only for stop-loss price data when that feature accesses price data. Market-data requests may include symbols and technically necessary connection data, but they do not transmit trade journal notes or credentials.
6. DepotPilot AI and Anthropic Claude
DepotPilot includes an optional AI analysis. When you actively start that analysis, the required portfolio, journal, and market context data is sent to Anthropic Claude through a DepotPilot Cloudflare proxy. This may include position data, open trades, market indicators, and selected journal context.
DepotPilot does not send portfolio or journal data to Anthropic unless you start the AI analysis. The Cloudflare proxy is used so the Anthropic API key is not stored in the app.
7. Technical connection data
When external services are requested, technically necessary data such as IP address, timestamps, header information, and requested endpoints may be processed. This processing is performed by the involved services and infrastructure providers as required to provide the app features.
8. Analytics, tracking, and advertising
DepotPilot does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking to analyze your usage behavior for marketing purposes.
9. Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where such data is processed by the controller. Because most app data is stored locally, you can delete it in the app or by deleting the app.
