Privacy Policy – VitaCore AI
Health data stays local, while AI analysis is handled transparently.
Apple Health data remains on-device; cloud AI is used only where the app already documents it.
Protecting your personal data matters to us. VitaCore AI is designed to process your data minimally and transparently.

2. What data does the app process?
The app processes the following data:
- Apple Health data (read-only): steps, active energy, exercise minutes, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, VO₂max, body mass, body fat percentage, lean body mass, height, waist circumference, workouts, sleep, age, and biological sex
- Profile information you enter: training goals, memberships, equipment, activities, injuries, supplements, sports background, regular schedule, travel/vacation mode, food notes
- Messages and optional photos you enter in the coach chat
- App settings: language, appearance, coaching programs
3. Where is your data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device (SwiftData). The app does not use iCloud sync.
4. Apple Health / HealthKit
VitaCore AI reads health and fitness data from Apple Health only with your explicit permission. The app does not write any data to Apple Health. Raw HealthKit data never leaves your device.
5. External Services – AI Coaching
For AI coaching features (training plan, nutrition tip, daily analysis, coach chat), selected context data is transmitted to the Anthropic API. Transmission is routed through a Cloudflare Worker proxy (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).
Transmitted content may include: values derived from Apple Health (e.g. average step counts, sleep, and workout habits, as well as current values for weight, body fat percentage, waist circumference, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and VO₂max), your entered profile (including goals, activities, injuries, supplements, memberships, and travel/vacation mode), and your food notes. In the coach chat, your chat messages and any photos you choose to attach are also transmitted. Raw HealthKit sample data is not transmitted, only values derived from it. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
6. Voice Input
When you dictate questions or food notes, the app uses Apple's speech recognition (Speech framework). Depending on device and language, processing may happen on-device or on Apple's servers. Apple's Privacy Policy applies additionally.
7. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising
The app does not use analytics services, tracking, or advertising networks.
8. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
If the app offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases are processed exclusively by Apple. The app does not receive payment data such as credit card numbers.
9. Apple Services
The app may use Apple services (e.g. App Store, in-app purchases). Apple's Privacy Policy applies additionally.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Restrict processing
- Object to processing
Because data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it directly in the app or by uninstalling the app.
11. Data Security
Data transmitted to external services is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). The security of your local data also depends on your device's security settings.
12. Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app's features or legal requirements change.
